Another day another piece of tweed I fall in love with. Apparently I should have been a history professor since I love tweed so much. Anyway, back to the matter at hand: making this tweed jacket work for workwear and the weekend!
For workwear I went with a basic black suit sheath dress, pearl/off white mules with heels, and added my trusty black bag. You can see in the video at the bottom I paired it with a white blouse, black pants, and the same heels. This jacket is awesome open or completely buttoned up – give me all tweed I’m telling you.

My weekend wear is jeans the photos and the video have two different ones: frayed hem or rolled hem. I tossed a white tank under and added slide on tennis shoes. The video has these tan slide on shoes – good Lord they are so comfortable. If I’m running errands all day these are the shoes I toss on, I love them so much. My feet love them so much! The pictures have these tretorns – they don’t get as much wear as they should. I need to work on that; I just cannot ever wear them to work so its only on the weekend I could put them on.
Work to Weekend: Tweed Jacket VIDEO
This tweed jacket is going to be in my closet for a long time. I already know it’s going to be a staple; it’s definitely not fast fashion it’s classic fashion workwear. I’m going to be 60 and still rocking the tweed.
