This was one of those dresses that once I saw it I knew it needed to be in my closet. I absolutely love it yall! The length, the slit, and the color/pattern – everything! It can definitely take you from work to weekend with just a few easy swaps.
For the work day I paired the dress with simple black pumps and for the weekend / date night dinner I changed the pumps for knee high boots and a leather moto jacket. Even TM said he liked both outfits! You want to make sure you wear a slip underneath the dress since it isn’t lined. PSA if you don’t have a slip you need to add one to your undergarments drawer. Seriously believe every adult woman needs to own one!

For a more casual work place you can definitely trade the pumps for knee high boots (keep them at or under the knee not over the knee). Add some tights if it’s cold where you are! You could also wear this dress for a winter wedding or for a Valentine’s Day date – I keep thinking of places this dress could be worn!
The cut of the dress, the longer sleeves and straight to the waist then a slight flared skirt with the slit reminds me of reformation dresses but without their price tag. I’m going to watch for this dress the go on sale and let yall know when it does! Make sure you’re following me on liketoknow.it so you can see when you can snag it on sale – it was under $50 earlier this week and I posted about it on LTK.
The red looks really good in person – the color and print is what kept me coming back to it. It hypnotized me – but in a good way!
