A trench is one of those great pieces that you can wear to work or on the weekend or anytime in between. I added a black one to my coat closet this season and it’s great! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good classic tan trench, but sometimes I feel like a old timey detective in it. This black trench was a good addition and nice ‘other’ option!
For work I wore these black pants, a white button down, and classic sling back heels. For the weekend, I dressed my trench up for date night, I tossed it on over a black dress with the same sling backs. It’s also going to look great for those drizzly winter days (hey I live in Texas, there’s no snow) in jeans and tennis shoes.
