You might go back to the office soon or you might never see those eggshell walls again. Here are my favorite work from home gadgets that will help you work at the house and can segue back to the office.
Mug Warmer or Self Warming Mug: keep your coffee or tea hot because the only worse that a cold cup of coffee is… I don’t know
Coasters: keep your desk safe from the rings from all the hydrating you’re doing. My coaster at work is a homemade Harry Potter one that my previous secretary made for me (love you Christy)
Laptop Stand: not only do they look cool they also save your neck from looking down all day. Saving your posture has a bunch of health benefits so grab a laptop stand asap
Desk Pad: my home office desk is my mother’s antique table so I don’t want to ruin it in any way, this desk pad is a great way to protect it and it will look great on your desk at work if you go back
Phone Stand: love having this little stand up on my desk, not so I can watch netflix or anything…
Padfolio: If you’re in the habit of running from coffee shop to coffee shop to work then you need a padfolio. Plus they look classy as heck
Headphones: my favorite bluetooth headphones are these Echo Buds. They sync so easy and are amazing at shutting out ALL the noise. I love love love them.
Blue Light Glasses: these babies work, I feel like I’m looking at my screens more and more so I wanted to make sure I keep my eyes protected. I honestly feel as if my eyes don’t get as tired when I wear these!
Soda Stream: if its getting hot where you are (hello Texas) or you want to cut your soda intake, then this Soda Stream is for you. I’ve got one at home and it’s amazing how much cheaper it is to make your own sparkling water!
Stress Ball/Fidget Spinner: so I had to transfer my stress balls that I use at work to a tennis ball at home because my pups kept begging me to throw it for them. Tennis balls or stress balls – works either way
Comfy Blazer: toss one on to look good in your Zoom meetings and bring it back to the office because it looks that good
Comfy Pants: these chic comfortable pants look good and feel good. Some are even still appropriate enough to wear back to the office depending on your office dress code (did you know you can check out The Docket looks by dress code: casual // conservative // professional)
I’m back in the office two to three days a week and it’s actually a nice medium. I get to dress down and comfortable and still dress to impress. It’s the best of both worlds!
