Have you started to look back on your year yet? 2021 was a big one for me and The Docket! Here’s the posts and moments in 2021 yall loved the most; I must say: I loved them too.
Oh and I’ve added some of my favorites too…
Your Favorite Posts in 2021
Yall loved all of my Capsule Wardrobe Posts: the 2021 Basic Capsule Wardrobe, the Summer Additions, the Fall Additions, and I just posted the Winter Additions so check that out because you’ll love it too.
Styling a Brown Plaid Blazer was also one of your favorite post. I can’t say I blame you, I love a good plaid blazer.
The Ultimate Guide to Work Bags was popular and I’m so glad yall liked it. I wanted to make sure these each had been put through their paces carrying laptops, tablets, and work accessories before I gave them my ratings and honest thoughts.
The trip TM and I took to Bar Harbor, Maine was another one of yall’s favorites and it was definitely one of the highlights of my year. I’d go back in a heartbeat. There’s a running joke at my office that any time I take a day off it’s because I’m probably going to Maine. It wouldn’t be an incorrect assumption honestly…
Some of the career posts yall liked include How I Stay Focused at Work, Making Mistakes at Work, and Being Productive (which included a download yall loved)!
And of course the Daily Work Wear posts yall love too; you know you can always find them prior to the end of the month on my liketoknow.it page right?
Some of My Favorites
October 16, 2021 was the best day – TM got down on one knee and proposed! I don’t think I’ve told yall exactly how he asked so I might have to write that down on a post one day because it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced.
I also loved my post on 4 Ways to Spice up a Suit. I absolutely love that suit jacket. The peplum is *chef’s kiss* and I’ve now had to refrain from wearing that entire suit ensemble (suit/ponytail/earrings) to work multiple times.
My post on Mental Health books was one that I really loved – there are some really good resources in those books and I loved sharing them.
I finally moved into my new house and it’s been super crazy getting moved in and unpacked and trying to get it ready for al my cousins that were coming in at Christmas. Well the day they all got into town I tested positive for COVID so that’s been a doozy. It’s really kicked my butt and I’m fully vaccinated so thankfully it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
This year I tried to focus on being more present on Instagram with content that I could prepare on the weekend and be able to post it on my lunch break or before/after work. I finally got into a groove with it and had a content calendar/planner but honestly once I moved into the house and that started to take up my weekends it was a lot. Ever since October I’ve been less present on instagram. That’s something I’m definitely going to try to focus (again) on in 2022.
I’m going to create a post about my goals for The Docket in 2022, check that out next week!
