I am not a fan of white. Until I got engaged the only white clothing I owned were tops and maybe one skirt. No white pants, no white dresses, nope, not going to happen. I personally think I look like a vampire, very translucent, a nice way to put it would be to say that white is not in my color wheel.
But I bought this dress because TM and I were getting our marriage license one day in the middle of work and I wanted to be in white when we took our picture with the license. TM met me at my office, since it’s in the courthouse, so now I own a white work dress… great. I needed to figure out how to wear this and not look like a bride or that I’m a walking commercial for Tide pens.

I paired the white dress with camel for a great winter look – the wool and suede of the camel pieces bring some winter warmth and texture to the white dress. I might try this with black (boots and blazer) too.
In the spring and summer tossing on a tweed jacket or navy blazer will be my next stab at utilizing this white dress.
