Wear Now and Wear Later is a new series I’m bringing to The Docket and I’m super excited to start it. I’m starting with this red tweed skirt or a tweed skirt in general.
Making sure the pieces you add to your workwear closet can do double duty in multiple seasons is very important. Curating a closet that you can wear in all or most seasons helps not only the amount of space your closet takes up but also your budget! So let’s check out how I would wear this tweed skirt now and how I would wear it later.
Fall/Winter Outfit: My cold(er) seasons outfit make the tweed skirt stand out thanks to my black tights, black boots, and turtleneck. Depending on where the skirt hits your legs you could go sans tights with the tall black boots or maybe keep the tights with some ankle booties.

Spring/Summer Outfit: I kept my spring and summer outfit simple with a white blouse and classic heels. For summer I’d shorten my sleeves because the Texas heat is no joke. I love the tie at the neckline on this blouse it’s wonderful… and I’ve ordered it in multiple colors.
