I love adding a scarf to an outfit! Next time you’re dressing for work and about to grab a necklace try tying a scarf instead! There are a few different ways to tie your scarf and it also depends on the size of your scarf. I tend towards to 35 x 35 but will obviously tie a smaller or larger one depending on the outfit.
The 35 x 35 scarves are more versatile in my opinion; they can be tied multiple ways and don’t give off Pan Am flight attendant immediately! Try tying your scarf in different ways to see what you like and the feel of each one. The one I’m wearing is 27 x 27 so it’s slightly smaller but you can see all the different ways you can tie it too! If you have an even larger scarf here’s a way you can fold it!

Scarves don’t have to be expensive; I mean I don’t think any of us would say no to an Hermes scarf but not everyone can just snap over to Hermes right? I get most of mine from amazon and they’re just as good as anything else. Kate Spade and Ann Taylor also have great options! Oh, and if you’re having trouble getting the knot on your scarf then grab a ring from your jewelry box and slip both ends of your scarf through the ring et voila! A perfectly (not) tied scarf! The first time I tried it I thought the scarf would slip out but it lasted all day; I’d recommend grabbing a ring that isn’t super large or heavy.
I can’t wait to see you styling and tying some scarves for work! If you take a workwear selfie tag me on instagram so I can see it!
