I found Dagne Dover work bags years ago in law school and I saved up to buy the simone satchel (sadly retired) and the brand has become a steady go to for years. The structure, organization, and attention to the smallest detail are just a few of the reasons why I love Dagne Dover bags for work.
These totes, no matter which one, are very well constructed and each have some wonderful additions: the inside removable sleeve for your drink, the long removable strap for your keys, and all the pockets. Seriously, ALL the pockets. There’s a pocket for anything and everything – if you can think of there’s a designated pocket already in the tote.

You saw the Signature and Classic Tote win the ‘Best Buy’ designation on my Ultimate Guide to Work Bags post; and now I’ve added another tote to my collection that I’ve been testing out for a few weeks: the Allyn tote.
If I only need to carry my laptop and no other books, folders etc then I’m going with the classic tote, if I need to add books or change of clothes or extra pair of shoes then I’m grabbing the Signature or Allyn Dagne Dover work bags. While the Signature will stand up without help the Allyn needs to be hung up or leaned against something. If I’m in court I’m grabbing the Signature tote because it stands up, it can fit everything I need, and I can look down and see where the highlighter I dropped in the tote is.

Each tote comes in three colors: black, dark grey, and a bone color. Sometimes, but very rarely, they come out with other colors but it’s very rare and once they’re sold out they don’t bring those colors back.
Fair warning, when you’re looking at the Dagne Dover work bags, check out the details on sizing because the Signature is BIG, so look at the measurements to see how big it would be.
