Okay this whole craze is coming out of tiktok (which I don’t have btw) and it’s blowing up – have you heard of Twee? I’m going to give you the run down of what it is and how to style the twee trend for the office.
Frankly, it sounds stupid. I had to look it up in the dictionary because I thought surely it’s like someone just chopped off the ‘d’ in tweed right? No. It means ‘dainty or quaint’ and the pronunciation is how babies cannot pronounce ‘sweet’ – I still think it sounds stupid but that’s okay.
The entire aesthetic is a mix of vintage, mismatching, tweed, patterns, a-line skirts/dresses, large collars, hats, and is super preppy and feminine. Being from Austin this entire look is basically what is in every store downtown – it’s a very Austin feeling.

Personally I gravitate towards the tweed, a-line/preppy part of the twee trend. If you want to style the twee trend for the office you’re in luck – the tweed and preppy looks work very well for workwear! Remember to not go too overboard and stay away from mismatching pieces.
For this outfit I paired a blouse with an oversized bow (similar here) under a tweed jacket and some cap toe heels. The beret was the added touch but you can bet that wouldn’t make it past the office door. The twee trend is very accessible for work because it is essentially made up of classic pieces – which makes is easy to dress up for the office!
