Here are my 12 most important picks from the past month…
These under $20 tanks – they’re easy to add under sweaters for an extra layer and look just as good under your basic blazers. I purchased two printed and two solid colors. Since I’m back in the office 100% now they’ve been great to grab for my suits.
Speaking off back in the office, it’s been rough getting up every morning haha! I’m really missing my 30 second commute from bed to desk. But this tea tree oil body wash is the jolt I need in the morning to get up and get moving!
We had a week of cooler temps and then back to 90s (it’s Texas yall) but I’ve been pulling out all my plaid blazers. This glen plaid blazer is fantastic and here’s one for $35 and a $40 plaid blazer with a belt – come to mama.
Apparently I jumped on the Bum Bum Cream wagon a little late but damn if this lotion isn’t worth the hype. I love it all – the smell, the feel, the way it melts into your skin. I tried it with a tester and I finally bought the full size. I use this lotion with sunscreen during the summer but now I’m transitioning to this for everything except my arms since I’m back in the car for so long now.
This gel eyeliner is changing my game. I’ve always used liquid eyeliner but I’ve slowly become a convert. It leaves me with the perfect smudged look and it stays without fading. It’s also way easier for me to get in between my lashes with this.
Last week I got sick, not COVID, but sinus infection/upper respiratory issues and I drank my weight in ginger tea. I use these tea strainers all the time with my loose leaf Earl Grey but they definitely work with my feel better tea. The recipe is: fresh grated ginger, steep for 2-3 minutes, add honey, and squeeze a slice of lemon and let it float. Add whiskey if you can’t sleep. The ginger just makes you feel better and the honey coats your throat.
Simple black headbands + dry shampoo = more sleep and still getting to the office on time(ish). This $8 headband has been pulling it’s weight in my office wear routine. Combining that with my favorite dry shampoo and my greasy roots are hidden.
I bought this $20 crewneck sweatshirt in red and yall it is soft! I paired it with a navy circle skirt and loafers for a back-to-school chic outfit. I can’t wait for the temps to drop more so I can get more use out of it!
These yeti cups, the tumbler and mug, are worth the money. I used the mug for my ginger tea and then as my symptoms got worse I started to make it in bigger quantities in the tumbler. I have the largest tumbler size too for water. My desk always has at least three drinks on it. Are you one of those people too?
With my new phone and new watch (did you see that saga on my instagram stories?) I wanted to get a wireless charger and this one had the greatest reviews. I love it! You have to get this converter with it though.
Happy end of September!
