This dress is like my version of Roy Kent – I can see it here, I can see it there, every fing where! It’s literally the perfect fall dress – for work and the weekend!
If you haven’t seen Ted Lasso yet, do yourself a favor and go watch it! There are almost two complete seasons out right now and it’s one of the greatest shows; it’s funny, heartwarming, and lighthearted. TM and I just started it about halfway through Season 2 and we love it! Roy Kent is one of my favs, no spoilers but, I love his relationship story!
Anyway, back to the perfect fall dress…
I’ve paired this dress with amazing brown suede heels (drop dead gorg – use code SARAHFLINT-BATHEDOCKETBLOG for $50 off) for work and when the temps drop I’m looking forward to pairing the dress with tall brown boots. I think when it gets really cold I’ll be able to pop on some tights and pair it with black ankle boots or booties. I’m telling you this dress has it all.
The color, as much as my Aggie heart bleeds when I wear it, is a great fall color. It pairs with black AND brown – brilliant; and it’s corduroy. It’s soft and cozy and going to last you from fall through winter. You could also toss a scarf over it or change out the matching tie belt with a brown or black leather one for extra color tie in. I usually find that dresses from Factory tend to be on the shorter side, and for a tall girl that’s not helpful when you have to abide by a work appropriate dress code. But this dress is a length that I didn’t feel uncomfortable wearing at work. It’s also got an a-line skirt so it skims perfectly!
