Time and time again I see the cropped blazer trend for the office and I cannot stand it. Cropped anything just doesn’t work for the workplace especially when you show any type of skin. The only way a cropped blazer should come into the office is if you’re adding it over a dress or your stomach is covered by a tank/shell.

I added this short sleeve cropped blazer over a dress because it’s a great choice for spring and summer but there was no way I was wearing it over shorts with another cropped top underneath.

Everyone knows it’s difficult to incorporate trends into the office but honestly I think the bottom line is: don’t be stupid. You know you can’t show your stomach so just don’t even try right? Same goes for shorts and suits – just no. NO.
