For the longest time I would rarely wear anything but black or navy on my bottom half; but around the time of covid I thought who cares and just decided to go for it. I’m still super nervous about wearing white – I’m a magnet for spills when I get bold and wear white; but I picked up this cream / beige skirt to wear at the office and I immediately thought let’s do this!

Shop the Outfit:

I paired a navy blouse and matching navy shoes to tie the outfit together and then I added a cognac belt so my waist wasn’t accentuated by elastic only. Usually, I pair my shoes and belt in the same color but I wanted to pull the navy on top and bottom. I think shoes matching the belt or even a classic pair of nude heels would work. While this look feels summer I could also imagine it with a pair of brown heeled boots in the fall. Basically you can wear this beige skirt at the office for multiple seasons!

Shop Other Cream / Beige Skirts:

The entire look gives off a relaxed, casual feel but is still appropriate for a business casual workplace. If you’re in a strictly business professional workplace this probably isn’t the outfit you want to try. This belt was a tad long so I looped the underneath; sometimes I also use a small clear elastic to add an extra ‘tie down’ loop if my belt is too long. I hate buying a belt to wear around my waist and a different one to fit my hips – they’re not the same size! So using those extra “loops” help a lot.
