On a recent shopping trip I found a pair of earrings that I fell in love with. Trouble is, they were big, and I only occasionally wear statement earrings at work. I decided to make it work, these earrings are that good.
When I first wore them I searched the brand and found more earrings, four add to carts later and I’ve been wearing this brand frequently over the past few weeks. Here’s my keys to wearing statement earrings at work:
keep the statement simple – pass on the crazy fringe or architecture or extra off dangles, your earrings are already big don’t put neon feathers on them too
stay away from too much color – choose your color wisely, anything too garish because way too much when it’s on a pair of statement earrings. The pink ones you see are probably the only bright ones I’d go with for work.
don’t layer statement on statement – if you’re wearing statement earrings then you need to make sure your blouse or dress isn’t also a statement piece

Sometimes I wish I could wear statement earrings in the easy way most people do but I have to save any crazy statement earrings for the weekend. I just won’t ever wear them in trial… there are some places you just can’t wear statement earrings.
