My go-to outfit for those days I need to feel powerful
I’ve got a few outfits that I love from when The Docket was Beyond the Black Suit that I want to bring back. So every time you see “From the File Room” it’s one of my old school outfits I’ve brought back!
We all have those days, where you’ve got a meeting or in my case a trial , etc that you’ve been worrying about, stressing about, or just plain terrified (and maybe slightly excited) to be going to. For those days you tend to grab the outfit that makes you feel good, that gives you that extra ‘oomph.’ For me, it’s this suit.
Technically they’re separates, but since they’re both made by JCrew and both in the same fabric, they match. I would recommend this blazer and dress to anyone and everyone. This combo lengthens your frame and makes the entire silhouette look streamlined.
This suit is simple but significant. Honestly, when I bought this I thought this will probably be the suit I wear when I try my first murder case and you know what? It was.
