I started The Docket Blog, formerly Beyond the Black Suit, at the end of my 3L year of law school, when the left side of my brain was over worked and I needed an outlet for the right side. I was interning at the District Attorney’s office and I needed to figure out how I was going to dress for my new professional life after living in nike shorts and shirts.
I graduated undergrad at Texas A&M (Gig em Aggies!) and got my law degree from SMU. I went straight into prosecution and I’ve never looked back.
