In Texas, where we’ve already hit 99 this year, we know how to dress for the heat. My favorite heat beating tool (besides the AC) is the linen suit. Linen suits are time honored tradition and you can tell why as soon as you put one on. Check out some other linen suits I love:

I’ve struggled with wearing this suit to work because I thought it made me look like too much like a lady and not enough like a woman with a spine of steel but then I said screw that, I love the lines, the scallops, and overall look of this suit, in addition to it keeping me cool while the parking lot could cook an egg; so I’m wearing it.
Being relatively comfortable in the soaring temperatures is worth the linen wrinkles. Plus since I picked navy for the dress you can barely see the wrinkles when I get up from my desk!
