Do you ever get an outfit idea in your head and think yeah I need all those things now. This was that outfit for me. I have a Breton tee but I didn’t have a striped sweater. Same for the long blouse – I had one that was meant to be tucked it and if I left it untucked that would just look like I forgot to get dressed. But this blouse makes layering the sweater easy!
I’m excited to wear this striped sweater for the weekend and not just for work. With some white shorts in the spring or a pleated skirt with boots this winter – it’s versatile. You know I love a good stripe; even at work! Plus anything Breton reminds me of Kate Middleton and that is always a good idea in my book.
For my commute I added a trench to this outfit and you can see I added the coat of all coats here. So. Much. Layering. It’s all due to the striped sweater and long blouse – it’s too good, I love it!
