As spring starts to creep up on us I want to start bringing brighter colors into my work wardrobe. Yellow is having a very en vogue moment but it can be tricky to wear yellow at work.
And let’s be honest, spring is going to be over quick, it got to 80 yesterday in Texas – summer is actually the one right around the corner.
I bought this dress in green with long sleeves for the holidays and I really liked the fit and how it wore so when I saw it in this beautiful yellow/mustard color I knew I wanted to try it for work.
The length is perfect with heels, the only catch is that it’s unlined so you need a slip underneath. I only have a short slip but if you prefer a long one it would definitely work too. The dress also comes in SIX different colors in both the long sleeve and sleeveless version.
My go to color to combine yellow with is some shade of blue: navy, cobalt, denim etc. What are the colors you pair when you wear yellow at work?
