Bringing burgundy back. Although did it really ever leave?
I’ve got a few outfits that I love from when The Docket was Beyond the Black Suit that I want to bring back. So every time you see “From the File Room” it’s one of my old school outfits I’ve brought back!
I love burgundy pants, it’s an exciting change from your basic black and navy, and it’s still a shade you can pair colors with. My favorite colors to pair with burgundy are: mustard, navy, blush, and grey. While I’ve incorporated zero of those colors here today (good job Katherine) you get my drift.
Another reason I’m partial to burgundy is because it’s the color of my alma mater Texas A&M (whoop!) although we Aggies would all it MAROON not burgundy. This color is a staple in my closet. Exhibit A, B, and C.
I picked up a sweater in burgundy while shopping with my mother and I believe our conversation went a little like this:
Jane: Do you really need another piece of clothing in that color?
Me: Yes.
