Anyone else get a midweek slump? Sometimes I feel like there’s so many things to get done and everything just keeps piling up; is it just me? Whenever I feel that way I usually take a few minutes, use these ideas, and use a few worksheets to get organized to pull my focus back to where it needs to be so I can be productive.
For work and personal life I use worksheets and templates all the time; I usually make my own from other worksheets I’ve used over the years. For work I have templates and cheat sheets so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every single time. It’s so much easier when you have a place to start from and you don’t need to start from zero.
I’ve been thinking about sharing my worksheets and templates; they might not work for you but you can take what does and make your own! Or maybe they offer you a different prospective on how to look at things or set your priorities. I’ve got three worksheets / templates to share today!
The Week at a Glance – a useful to-do worksheet you can use each week to plan out your days; to include what your meals look like and what your workout will be. There’s a mini habit tracker and a top 3 priority list for work and personal. Usually I have a top 3 of each so I made sure to separate them out. I usually keep it on my desk so I can see it.
The Goal Worksheet – a template you can use to break down your goals into bite sized pieces so it’s easier to see exactly how you’re going to accomplish your goal. It also includes a section where you can lay out why this goal is important and what you can do if you hit a snag in accomplishing your goal.
The Priority Worksheet – think of this worksheet as an organized to do list. It breaks down your to do list using the Eisenhower Matrix: Do it Now, Do it Later, Delegate it, Delete it. I’ve tweaked it a little because usually you can’t just delete things off your to do list. But it’s a great way to see what’s really important and how you should attack your list. It’s such a great way to focus and be productive!
After using these worksheets if you’re still feeling out of it, maybe it’s brain fog and I’ve got a few ways to shake that off too!
