Hi everyone! Yall have sent in a few questions about our wedding so I’ve taken all of them and decided to answer them here! Let me know if you have any more questions!
How excited are you? Are you more excited for the wedding or reception?
I cannot even begin to describe it! I’m obviously excited for everything we’ve been planning but I’ve also been thinking about how the most important part is going to be when TM and I are telling each other how much we love each other, how we will always choose each other, and how we are a team and that part is going to be over so quick! That’s the part I’m most excited for. Then the crazy dance party. Then the moment TM sees me walking down the aisle for the first time.
Are you picking out china or not doing that?
I did pick out china! I didn’t go with a print, just a classic white piece. I can’t wait to host holiday dinners with it.
How did you find your vendors?
Most of our vendors were all suggestions from our wedding planner – she’s amazing and I trust her implicitly. She hasn’t steered us wrong!
What are your colors?
Emerald green and white with only a touch a royal purple.
How many people are on your guest list? Big or small wedding?
We invited…270… it just blew up. We don’t think everyone is going to say yes… well at least we hope 270 isn’t coming.
How many are in your wedding party? Who wanted more people in their bridal/grooms party?
There are four groomsmen and five bridesmaids. His groomsmen include my brother, a friend, and two old military buddies. My bridesmaids include a friend since middle school, a Dallas friend, my sister, and TM’s two sisters.
How did you and TM meet?
We met on Bumble!
Taking a honeymoon? Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We’re going to Iceland but not until 2023; I don’t have any more vacation days this year so we’re going to take at least a week next year.
Are you taking your husband’s name? Are you changing your name?
I will be taking TM’s last name but continue using my current last name at work.
Venue?
We’re getting married at Camp Lucy, Sacred Oaks – in Dripping Springs.
How are you handling your seating chart? Are you doing a seated dinner or buffet?
We aren’t doing a seating chart but more of a table chart. Se each person will get assigned to a particular table but they can sit in any of the seats at that table. We haven’t started putting people at tables yet though, we’re just starting to get reply cards back.
Are the puppies invited? Is Winston coming?
I really want a picture of TM, myself, and all our puppies but it’s going to cause TM to be really worried about them acting up so I don’t know if the puppies are going to be there or not. It’s also crazy expensive to have them with a babysitter and then have someone drive them then have them get driven back and then stay with someone or someplace. It’s a lot, especially with four pups.

Hahaha! If you saw my instagram stories the other day you’ll know what this is referencing! I have sent 722 stamps so far. This includes save the dates, invitations, RSVP envelopes, and thank you notes.
