The Nordstrom Sale is here and if you follow me on instagram you know that I believe this is simply a sale – not an olympic event. Shop smart, take stock of what your closet already has and what it needs, know your budget and be realistic. Again, it’s just a sale! Most of everything you’ll see from me are workwear Nordstrom Sale picks – there are a few non workwear things in my cart (and baby items) but they’re few and far between.
There are some solid workwear picks this year; more than last year. I’m going to be putting some outfits together from items I’ve ordered and from pieces online. If you follow on IG you know I get the major ick from people going to the store and camping out in a dressing room to do a video try on and then not buy anything. ICK. I’ve only ordered things that I actually think I will keep (depending on how it looks on obviously). Because of that, and my clothing budget mainly being spent on what I wear to the office, most of what you’ll see are workwear Nordstrom Sale picks. But I’ve got a few baby buys because of this little dude sitting next to me as I type : )

Those two skirts suits in the middle caught my eye first because while the dark grey is giving major schoolgirl vibes I think when the blazer is open it’s going to be perfect for trial and the navy one is killer with the high neck jacket. I love the loafer with the slight heel and the buckle too! The camel boucle jacket is perfection, it also comes in black. Normally I wouldn’t go for this brownish short sleeve sweater but yall, it is calling my name. I’m going to pair it with some navy slacks or wait, maybe black slacks and those loafers! I added some other dresses to my cart, the burgundy tweed is beautiful, the puff sleeve plaid is going to work into winter with tights, the navy sweater dress looks like the perfect Friday dress to add to my closet, and the green shirtdress is so me. I added this beautiful scarf, I really can’t resist a good scarf. The large elemis cleanser is probably going to last me for 6 months so this is a good buy for me. I also really loved this activewear jacket that I can definitely use for travel… and working out… I guess…

Honestly the shoe selection this year is not giving me any lust (except those loafers) but there are some solid basic picks to add to your workwear rotation! These squareish toe heels with the buckle are super cute and these slingbacks are gorgeous. If you were looking for loafers there are a few great pairs! Most of these come in multiple colors so make sure to check if you like the style but need a different color.

These. Dresses. Yall they are so good! The dress selection is making giving you my Nordstrom Sale picks very difficult because I just kept thinking yes omg this one oh wow cute, Click through and drool please.

There are some great work staple tops – looks at that sleeveless ruffle front shell – great for wearing under a blazer! There are also sleeved tops that you’ll grab to pair with slacks and skirts. That short sleeve blue blouse looks great for hot weather! Grab the white with black piping and all you need is a pair of black slacks and black flats and you’re good to go.

Honestly pass on these bags. BUT if you need to add one then these are your best bet to fit a laptop, just remember to check the size because not all sizes of laptops are going to fit.

If you are ever in the market for cashmere sweaters you need to check these out. I have a few colors and they are wonderful. Take care of them and they will last! The camel cardigan with the black trim? Yes please! The purple/pink long sleeve is calling my name for a casual friday, maybe with those loafers I’m obsessed with?

The blazer selection is small but they are gooooood. The camel boucle jacket I added to my cart is wonderful and the other camel tweed with black piping is beautiful! The black tie waist blazer is a great price to dip your toe into tie waist blazers. Same for this plaid blazer! The white collarless jacket in the middle is beautiful and it also comes in black!

Skirt selection sucks for workwear, no we don’t need mini skirts for the office because office siren is not goals! Two of these are the skirts from the suits I bought and can definitely be worn/purchased just as skirts. The plaid pencil skirt on the right has a matching sleeveless top that you can wear as a set depending on your workplace. I’ve linked one self described mini skirt but on one model it looked longer so check your measurements.

Still mindboggling that baby gear is now a topic of things I’m looking at but let’s dive in. The nanit monitor is legit the reason I sleep at night. It monitors baby’s breathing by using the squares on the sleep sack/wrap and if they stop breathing it alerts you. We did a lot of looking through reviews and product testing sites to make the decision to get this over the baby sock – very happy with our choice. I’m trying to convince TM we need the ball pit… tbd if that works. Baby B loves his bouncer and he’s not even big enough to bounce it on his own so it’s only going to get better! I had a lot of people tell me to get the slumberpod for travel and the reviews look amazing! Magnets and zippers over snaps and buttons. If these magnetic close pjs are on sale you can bet I’m buying! The stokke chair is legit going to last for years, you can take off the straps and tray and it becomes a chair and step stool for kids to use. This standing play seat is super cute and B needs it. This is the stroller we ended up going with and let me tell you we are super happy with it! It has attachments that can turn it into a double stroller, you can stick the car seat directly on the stroller base, and we LOVE IT. There’s a travel stroller by this brand and we are seriously considering it for when B is old enough to get on a plane (aka get his measles vaccine) and of course hold his head up!

I hope you enjoyed all my Nordstrom Workwear Sale Picks! Check my LTK and follow along on Instagram because I will be talking a little more about the sale and specific items I have and love or that I’ve purchased there too! I will also be styling some of my keepers that I’ve bought.
