It’s definitely fall, well not really if you’re looking at the temperature here but like in my heart. Anyway, I love pulling out all the colors of fall – the browns, burgundies, and greens! All the shoes too – here’s the five pairs of shoes you need for all your fall workwear!
Some you might have already in your closet but if you don’t I’ve pulled some options at all different price points together for you. Maybe this post is the excuse you need to add some of these fall shoes to your shoe rack… take the excuse right?
Tall Boots – black, chocolate brown, camel, leather, suede etc etc – you don’t need all of the above but grab a tall pair and make sure they’re comfortable on your feet. I bought a pair years ago at Target, that I’ve taken really good care of, resoled them and everything. I’m pretty sure they were $40 and I’ve probably had them for over 8 years. They were my only non-riding boots, ones that I could wear to work, for a few years. You only need one pair!
Mary Janes – I recently purchased a pair of mary jane’s and they are awesome! I love that this style is coming back. I prefer the ones with a slight heel, maybe flats for more business casual workplaces, but the ones with the low heel are *chef’s kiss*
Loafers – of all kinds, structured or not, these are going to be some of your favorite pairs of work shoes. Once you start wearing them it’s very hard to stop. Why? Because they’re comfortable and they look chic too!
Brown anything – grab a pair of heels in brown, tall or low, perhaps brown in loafers or boots, but get some brown in your foot wear. I feel like I’ve seen more browns in fall outfits this year, more than last year definietly, and I’m loving the warmth of it.
Leopard – last but not least put some leopard on your feet! I tend to go for leopard flats or loafers – leopard heels tend to be too much for my work place but I love styling them! Check out these leopard cap toe flats from my favorite shoe company! Use code THEDOCKET for some $$ off at checkout!
