Red pants are one of my white elephant clothes pieces: they’re so pretty but just plain ruin me. It’s difficult styling red pants! I’ve never pulled the trigger on them because I don’t know what to wear with them. I found this pair, they were on sale when I purchased, and decided to go for it. Just do it and that right?
Another reason I struggle when styling red pants is because I’ve always felt as if they’re a great beacon saying ‘look at my lowers half’ and I usually like to tone that part down. However, since I bought them I’ve become determined to wear them as much as possible.

One color combo that I’ve been lovely lately is red and camel and it made styling these red pants an easy pick with this the coat of all coats and the mock neck sweater in camel as well. I really can’t believe the only black articles in these photos are my sunnies and bag – I usually always wear some black but apparently the red pants are changing me!

So are you a fan of styling red pants for the office yet? Because they’re growing on me… I hope I’m not just saying that. They really can be worn throughout the year; think about it: spring – pair them like I did here with a lighter top for spring, summer – wear them with white and you’ll be red hot (wow that was dorky), fall – bring in the black for a chic weather appropriate look, and winter – add some green to dress them up for the holidays! Did we just become best friends with red pants? YUP!
