Everyone loves to try new skincare masks or creams or serums right? Tell me it’s not just me. But no matter how many new and amazing things I try there are some basics that I will always use. These are my ride or die beauty products.
If I had to be on Survivor and was allowed to bring beauty products these would be the things in my backpack. Each and everyone of these items are things that I have extra of all the time. I won’t ever let myself run out. Usually I even have specific travel bottles etc that live in my toiletry bag ready to go. Seriously, these are my ride or die beauty products – try them and you’ll see what I’m talking about. They’ll soon become yours too.
FYI haircare is not included in this list… I’m sure it would be much longer if I had to add those products! All the products below are clickable
Tula Tinted Primer – when I put this one it feels like I’m not wearing anything. It’s great layered over the sunscreen on this list. It comes out white but it blends into the shade. I wear shade Luna and I love it. It’s my everyday face makeup! See my other favorite foundations and face tints that include this Tula Tinted Primer!
Versed Cleansing Balm – I’ve tried a lot of face washes and cleansing balms and there are some that I really like. This balm is a close second but this one from Versed takes the #1 spot because I love the way it feels on my skin and the way it smells. Plus, it’s cheap and you can’t eat that.
Benefit Mascara – the brush on this mascara is my favorite, it grabs every eyelash. I will wear this with the tula tinted primer and go about my day on the weekend.
Aquaphor Ointment – I use this on anything that needs serious moisturizing. Dry skin? Yep. Blister? Yep. Chapped lips? Yep. Wonky eyebrows? Yep. Torn cuticles? Yep.
Bio-Oil – this combined with the Aquaphor can cure any skin ailment. I use Bio-Oil for moisturizing larger patches of skin – legs, arms, etc. I’ve also used this for my hair in a pinch. I’ve shaved with this before. It takes a minute to sink in but it smells amazing so I don’t mind.
CeraVe Sunscreen – you already knew you needed to wear sunscreen every day right? Well this is literally the perfect sunscreen. It doesn’t clog my pores, it’s light enough to moisturize under and over other skincare and it’s 30 SPF. I’m determined to be the grandma without sunspots.
Megababe Space Bar – I am terrified of smelling bad. Seriously scared of having bad BO. This soap is made with charcoal and I swear you could run a marathon, roll in mud, and have someone barf on you and it would still make you smell super clean.
