First vacation of 2022 is celebrating my mom’s birthday in Belize! It’s also the first time I’ve been out of the country since January 2020… wowza! I had to pull all my summer and swim outfits out of my totes still in the garage to make my Belize packing list; but I also picked up a few things to add to my suitcase. One thing I always pack for beach vacations is my jean jacket – it goes with everything.
I’m looking forward to getting some sun, partaking of some run punch, and relaxing on the beach. Maybe I’ll see if anyone wants to join in on a yoga session on the beach – I downloaded one just in case I couldn’t stream one from my Peloton app. My mom’s close friends and some of my aunts are also coming to Belize and it’s always so much fun to be with them. They’re all at least 20 years older than me and it’s usually hilarious when I’m the most responsible one in the group! I’ve known all the ladies we’re traveling with since I was born and they are all a blast! We each brought a game and we’ve got Card Against Humanity, What do you Meme, and Drunk Jenga to name a few.
We got here yesterday after covid tests and a puddle jumper plane ride – did you catch my stories on that? We’re already on the beach and making sure to load up on the sunscreen.
