How much to spend – unless you feel like you need to, I would stick to around or under $30 per person. Only three of these items are over $30, and one of those is $34! You do not need to (and shouldn’t want to) break the bank to spend on gifts for your coworkers. If $30 isn’t feasible then don’t force it!
Funny or serious – this is going to depend on your specific workplace and also the relationship you have with each coworker. Some offices do gift exchanges where they just exchange liquor, some offices it would be taboo to give anything to do with that.
