Every woman needs some work dresses in her closet that feel like an old familiar t-shirt. You know the ones that you put on and it’s just so dang comfortable? You need that in dress form. So let’s talk about jersey dresses for work…
Jersey dresses have a tendency to pill so sometimes they’re not work appropriate BUT if you take care of them or at the very least toss them when they start to look bad then you’re in for some comfortable work dressing. You’ve heard me gush about “Friday Dresses” right? Jersey dresses that are work appropriate are the epitome of a Friday Dress!

Things to remember about wearing these at the office:
1) you might need to add a slip underneath because some of them aren’t lined
2) they’re probably going to be more casual so pass on them for major work events
3) keep silhouettes classic to counteract the casual fabric

I really loved the waist definition of the red printed dress I’m wearing; it added a little something extra. I honestly could decide if I loved this print or thought it was too loud but I’m so glad I kept coming back to it. It’s so fun in person and the print helps lighten the heaviness of the leather navy heels and bag. Plus, not only can I wear it for work but I will probably end up tossing on a jean jacket and some white sneaks for the 4th next month!
