Getting away in 2021… ahhh bliss! TM and I are headed to the Mount Desert Island in Maine this weekend and after a week of 90 degree heat and gross humidity, the “highs” of 65 are looking pretty good! I love that my Maine packing list includes long sleeves!
Mount Desert Island is where Acadia National park is located, along with Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor. I’m thrilled to just be getting on a place right now. Last year planes were basically grounded right? I actually started planning earlier than usual for this trip; I guess I was just too excited to actually be traveling. It might not be international but I know that’s coming!
After researching the island and how we were going to get there; we decided on the most important things we wanted from this trip. That list looked a little like this…
– lobster
– lighthouses
– wearing sweaters
– salty sea air
– hiking
and so much more!
Once we figured out what we wanted to do I started in on my packing list for Maine! That list got fairly long but I paired it down… kinda… packing light is not my specialty. I know most, if not everyone, reads my blog for the workwear but I’m super excited about this trip and thought I share!
Follow along on instagram to see all the fun we get up to or to at least see 1083716519239182 pictures of coastal Maine… honestly it’s probably going to be the later since TM isn’t a social media fan. I grabbed a few things for my suitcase and they’re too good I just had to give yall the deets. Voila, my Maine Packing List! All the items are clickable
Did I use this trip to the northeast as an excuse to finally pull the trigger on a DS turtleneck? You betcha! You can also see the items that didn’t make this mini Maine packing list by following me here to see all the daily outfits and things I’m using while traveling and staying in Maine.
