Is there anyone that can turn down a good charcuterie board? Not to get too Joey Tribbiani on you but Meat? Good. Cheese? Good. Fruit? Gooooood! Here is how you build the ultimate charcuterie board!
I love bringing charcuterie boards to parties. You basically get to toss food on a big platter and do zero cooking. Do you have to arrange the items in an eye catching manner, no, but it’s fun. For this board I loved using a cookie cutter to create the star cutout in the brie for my pomegranate seeds and then I used the cut out star in a different place on my board.
If you follow me on instagram you can catch the behind the scenes build of the board! It’s in my highlights – check it out! There is also a walk through of everything I bought for the board so you can see what it looks like before.
Here’s a few boards and accessories to help you build the ultimate charcuterie board. I used this large serving tray to build mine and I love it!
Here’s a list of everything on the board:
Crackers: assortment, fig & olive crisps, olive oil breadsticks.
Meat: truffle salami, calabrese salami, prosciutto, capocollo, salchichon, jamon serrano, chorizo cantimpalo
Cheese: brie, goat cheese, unexpected cheddar, iberico, cabra al vino, manchego
Fruit: grapes, pomegranate, pomegranate seeds, strawberries
Other: crackers, fig & olive crisps, honey, rosemary for garnish, petite carrots, greek olives, sliced cucumbers, almonds, sugared orange slices
If, and I stress that’s a big ‘if’, IF you have left overs you can always build a mini ultimate charcuterie board just for you. Don’t forget to add a glass of wine or two!
